Keyword Research With The Google Wonder Wheel

by jack on November 13, 2009

If you're new here, you may want to be on the lookout for a little guy that pops up once in a while...he has some very valuable stuff.

Thanks for visiting!

Ever heard of the google wonder wheel?  If not, you are in for a real treat.

The google wonder wheel is a fairly new feature from google, which lets you do a form of free association, jumping from one keyword, to dozens, even hundreds of other related searches, and then drilling down to the results each gives.

Let me show you how to access it, and use the google wonder wheel.

First, visit google, and do a search.  Here, I begin searching for sewing machines, but google starts to display possible matches to my search string:

Pick your search term, and let google generate some results for you.  Then notice carefully how there is a little “+options” at the very top of the search results:

Click the +Show Options link at the top of the results, and look at the options given to you to find the Google wonder wheel:

Click the Google wonder wheel, and watch the screen transform into a wheel of related search keywords:

See how keywords are presented to you that you may have not been thinking of.  It’s pure magic for anyone doing niche research!  Now, it doesn’t do all the work of finding the search volume, the competition, the commercial intention of each keyword, but it does a fantastic job of uncovering related keywords that may be cash nuggets for your niche business.

If you couple this new free tool from google with some of the top rated keyword tools like Noble Samurai, Keyword Elite2, and Nichebot, you have yourself a complete system for doing professional keyword research for the niche market(s) of your choice.
