If you're new here, you may want to be on the lookout for a little guy that pops up once in a while...he has some very valuable stuff.
Thanks for visiting!
I just found a couple new marketing tools internet marketers will absolutely love.
I like to check out new sites and test to see which site has a tool for the internet that can make a difference for Internet Marketers starting out. Things to help with website traffic, or improving opt-ins, or conversion…these resources are on the top of my list.
So, you don’t need to google anything to find these – they are not in any ebook yet, but are top rate. My quick research shows them to be fantastic, and I will show you how to use them, but my only worry is they will not be free forever…they simply are too powerful.
(there is no affiliate program here, just expert advice showing you expert tools you can use for free)
First up, I found http://keyrow.com
Freaking amazing…
Let me show you how…
Go to http://keyrow.com and you can enter either a keyword or a website.
If you choose keyword, you’ll see the rankings for that keyword, and if you choose website, you get to see all (or nearly all) the top google rankings for this website. Like magic!
Let me repeat this…it gives you ALL the keywords (or nearly all!) that any website ranks for! Is there any other free tool that can do that? I don’t think so!
Gone are the days where you have to manage a search engine optimization tool like keyword elite or market samurai…you just go to keyrow.com and find any site’s top search engine listings.
That feature alone is worth a monthly subscription, so use it while they offer it for free.
By the way, if you like getting resources like this right away, you should subscribe to this blog, rather than stumbling on this information like a blind man in the dark.
The next site is not about backlink analysis, or copywriting, or an autoresponder, but you can learn more about a website than you thought was ever possible with another free tool.
The site I’m talking about now is http://webdatah.com – it lets you pop in a domain name, and get a complete pro picture of the site…it’s age, resources about its visitors, ranking, quantcast data, and even the alexa keywords with how the site ranks on google, yahoo and msn.
If you are thinking of buying an existing domain name, be sure to run it through webdatah.com and see if it meets your corporate business expectations (especially if the seller says the site will pay to own).
So, in a simple two step process, you can take these two tools, determine their income stream, get their keywords, their rankings, their historical data, and get better at building sites that can generate an income and command a good price.
Usually, when it comes to buying existing websites, every Joe, Mike or Larry will guarantee the results they claim, and after you make the payment and get the site, they go silent, or disappear completely. Luckily now, with these two websites and just a laptop, you can come back here, review this post, and source out the true information about any website.
If you are doing seo, or word analysis, you can book mark this page, and use it to find key phrases your competitors rank for, and determine if you can do the same, using the best info and links available for free.
I mail out tips like this to anyone who subscribes to this blog and when I find other great free marketing software, you get to hear about it first.

Got That Cold Call From Leapfish
by jack on January 5, 2010
Yep, I knew it was bound to happen…I got that famous cold call from Leapfish, the “stellar new search engine aggregator”, and after the fast talking agent had me click around his site, I thought, hey, this is pretty good, wonder what a sponsored link would cost.
Well, the little voice told me to go looking online for the experience of others, and wouldn’t ya know it…these kids are into fraud!
First up, there’s the fake testimonials on Techcrunch…and being a sort of investigator of claims myself, I thought I’d take a snapshot of that V***** keyword from that post, and see if they are still up to their shenanigans…
leapfish isn't showing ads here
But right at the same time, over at the advertisers page, it seems this keyword has only the #2 spot left, so I better hurry if I want it!
this data does not match their homepage results
Ya, rrrrrrighhhht!
Just go check out techcrunch’s own reporting of these guys, and how their very own employees are busy spamming the site with fake enthusiasm about leapfish. It takes a while to read all those comments, but sure is fun to see the snakes get drawn out and squished.
So, I gotta ask myself…they call me about a keyword I rank for on google, then offer a #1 spot for a one-time 4 figures, and yet when I go search that term on their site, it says it is already sold out…so who’s right, the guy on the phone, or their website?
I don’t know about you, but when things don’t add up, I back up and run…
Run Forrest, Run!
Run For Them Hills, Forrest
